My Story
I grew up in a very small farming community along the Mississippi River. Church was never a part of my family vocabulary. As I got older my parents decided it was time we got involved in a church. So they dragged me (kicking and screaming - I might add) to the local Methodist Church.

From there the rest, you could say, is history. Gradually, I got more and more involved and understood the joy of being a part of a true fellowship of believers. However, it took until 2009 to fall in love with Jesus... He became my personal Savior and church became more than just "that thing I do". It was from that new-found relationship with Jesus that I was called to a life of ministry. I answered that call in 2011 when I was offered the position of Middle School Youth Pastor and served as such for 6 years.

Since 2021 I have pastored both Oakfield Community and Tabor Global Methodist Churches. I love the challenge and opportunity that comes from serving a country church and a "city" church in the heart of downtown. I enjoy seeing the unique personality of each congregation and brainstorming new ways in which we can serve the Lord.

As a minister, I can tell you that I have a heart for Scripture and making sure that, as believers, we are planted, rooted, and built up in God's word. If following Jesus Christ is our firm foundation, then Scripture is the way by which we understand and build upon that foundation. I feel strongly that Scripture is applicable to our everyday life and should guide and influence how we live. I believe worshipping in community at every age and stage of life is vitally important to growth as a Christ-follower. I love worship, music (both hymns and modern), I enjoy working with youth, and serving through in various outlets.

Beyond work and school, I am a proud mother and wife. My wonderful husband, Jason, and I have 2 young daughters. As a family we love to go "glamping", watch movies, have bonfires, and check out the local parks!
